Who We Are
Youth Community is an Omani non-profit initiative, born from a belief that is both simple and profound: Omani youth deserve more than information — they deserve real conversation, genuine human connection, and the chance to see the world through the eyes of their peers.
It began in 2023 as a modest dialogue space inside GHEDEX — the Global Higher Education Exhibition — which generously provided us the space to try the idea for the first time. Grade 12 students sat with graduates who shared their experiences honestly, exchanging what no textbook teaches. That simple moment was the seed.
Today, Youth Community is a digital platform that brings Omani youth together wherever they are — in Muscat or London, Toronto or Tokyo — in one shared space for dialogue, connection, and inspiration.
Why We Exist
Because many young Omanis stand at a crossroads — between ambition and reality, between what they studied and what they find, between what they dream of and what they think is possible.
Because the Omani student abroad carries invaluable experience and has no structured way to bring it home.
Because remarkable youth initiatives are born and fade without ever reaching beyond their immediate circle.
Because dreams need an environment to grow in — and that environment did not exist. Until now.
